PRICES
Pricing starts at $5.50 per serving for buttercream covered cakes and $6.50 per serving for white fondant covered cakes.
Starting prices are based on basic cake flavors and minimal decoration. Final prices depend on flavors, complexity of the design, and any hand-made or hand-sculpted sugar elements like: Gum Paste Flowers, 3D or 2D Figurines, Bows, Edible Prints, Logos, Custom Paintings and other Fondant and Sugar Details that take a considerable amount of time to make and put it together.
Brides must provide their own floral decorations and ornaments for the top tier. For those interested in incorporating special cake stands or backdrops to their cake design, Royal Cakes Bakery will happily custom-build and design these platforms for an additional cost. Prices for such structures will vary based on the materials and labor that is needed.
All wedding packages require a $600.00 minimum and a 50% non-refundable deposit. Full balance payment is required one week prior to delivery.
CAKE SIZES
Generally, the size of cake servings for weddings are smaller than servings for parties and events. Royal Cakes Bakery uses the following Cake Serving Chart to determine the size of the cakes required for the number of servings you need.
TASTING & DESIGN CONSULTATION
Tastings are scheduled by appointment and held at a location both parties have agreed upon. Tastings are $40.00 and include three cake flavors of your choice for up to two guests. Each additional guest will be an additional $6.00/person.
During the tasting, we will discuss flavor options, sizing options, design details, pricing, and delivery. Once every detail is set, Royal Cakes Bakery will email the proposal and invoice for your reference and review.
DELIVERY
Deliveries and set-up must be made for cakes that are 3-tiers or more. Any large or intricately designed cake can be very delicate and require careful vehicle transportation.
Pricing for deliveries vary based on location. Since Royal Cakes Bakery is located in Aldie, VA we charge a flat fee of $50.00 for any deliveries within a 15 mile radius from the bakery. Deliveries greater than 15 miles are an additional $1.25/mile.
This delivery fee is a separate charge and will not be included in the price of your cake.
